Founded in 2013, AD Systems designs and manufactures high-performance interior doors and storefront door systems, focusing on sliding and acoustic solutions.
AD Systems' product portfolio includes sliding and swing doors, perimeter frames, door hardware, gaskets, seals and side panels under its ExamSlide™, OfficeSlide™ and InsetSlide™ product brands. The company is located in Everett, Washington.

Eckersley also pointed out that, like the recently acquired Technical Glass Products®, AD Systems will take advantage of Allegion's existing specification writing capabilities to help accelerate growth.
After the transaction is completed, AD Systems is expected to operate in Allegion's Americas, and there are no immediate plans for this business to change.

AD Systems' 2017 net sales were approximately US$18 million. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
